Hehehe , I remember my cousin , her daughter fortunately got over his " terrible two" stage.

But before that he was a little gremlin on steroids screaming a banshee and throwing stuff with an aim of a world class baseball player.

I have girl 3 and a boy 1½, Gaia (the girl) just started in kindergarden, that have introduced us to a lot of problems we didn't have before, especially with Luis (our boy) oh my god, this time - I feel like a terrible mom a some times.

Yeah! I think there are kids who do not undergo the terrible 2s stage. I have a 4-year old nephew who is very nice and gentle. My sis keeps on telling us that she never had a hard time raising his son as Aeden is naturally meek child and do not have any unusual tantrum.

Hi!

I always wondered why it is called the terrible 2s.. With our oldest, we're still waiting - he is 9 years old now and was never "terrible". Our daughter started early and is still going strong at 3. Our youngest is inspired I guess and is practising hard already at 18 months...

Pick your fights is probably my best advice. The meanest typhoon can turn into a fresh morning breeze by being allowed to be the decision maker once in a while.

You have a very cute typhoon!

Prepare yourself for more ;) … but you know, in teaching children to behave, parents should not wait for the baby to turn a little bit older. The earlier we teach them, the easier for them to learn. I remember my mother in saying do not let the small ones be the king/queen of you home and do not let kids dominate you. And it is true, we can be loving and gentle parents without spoiling our kids. Sometimes, by ignoring the tantrums or “cute but bitchy” attitude of our kids, we are just helping them to be mischievous and too playful.
